The bottom heat and high humidity of heated propagators can also be instrumental in helping cuttings to take root. Most seeds will germinate between 18°C – 22°C and they will germinate more quickly and successfully if their preferred temperature is maintained fairly evenly during the day.
Non-electric or Unheated Propagators:
A Unheated propagator will help you to get seeds off to a head start by trapping warm air, preventing drafts and creating the humid atmosphere needed for seed germination.
